# Shining Robotics — Mobile Robot Platforms and JDM

## Identity and scope
- Shining Robotics (Taizhou) Co., Ltd. was established in May 2026 in Taizhou, Zhejiang, China, with investment from a company within Shining Group. Its robotics team leads product research and development.
- Shining Group was established in 1995 and operates production bases in Taizhou and Jiangsu. Its manufacturing, sourcing, assembly and testing resources support robotics prototypes, pilot builds and production according to project needs and internal arrangements. The group's 1995 founding date is separate from the robotics company's May 2026 founding date.
- In-house robotics R&D includes SLAM, localization, navigation, path planning and obstacle avoidance. Algorithm configurations, software delivery and integration scope are agreed for the selected product and project.
- Research collaboration with relevant teams at Tongji University and Jiangnan University covers core algorithms, expert guidance, talent development and technology iteration, bringing research into robot products and practical applications. This describes team-level collaboration, not institution-wide ownership or endorsement.
- All SR-C400, SR-C500, SR-C600, SR-C800 and SR-X700 chassis support ROS 1 and ROS 2. Confirm distribution, operating system, drivers, messages, interfaces and delivery scope for the selected configuration.
- Maximum payload and rated payload are different specification labels. Confirm operating conditions and center of gravity.
- SR-O700 is under development; specifications and availability are not yet published.
- Academic Research Program: project-specific academic quotations for institutional procurement by universities, research institutes and formal laboratories. Individual student purchases are outside the program.
- Phase one provides online text, product imagery and specifications. Downloadable product documents, 3D models, company GitHub releases and videos will be added in later phases. No public download package is currently offered.

Confirm dimensions, weight, battery, speed and other specifications for the optional 150 kg configuration rather than assuming the standard specifications apply.
